MATTHEW M. HINSON

CPA, JD

   Matt joined the team in 2019. He specializes in personal, trust, and business tax compliance and planning. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from The University of Mississippi, followed by a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Mississippi. After working for a “Big Four” CPA firm, he attended and graduated from the University of Memphis School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate.

  Matt grew up in Memphis and enjoys the local sports teams. Although becoming slower by the day, he stays active by running and exercising. Matt also enjoys spending time attending local events with his family and friends. 

   Matt previously worked in the public accounting profession and experienced in a wide array of tax areas. He continues to grow the tax client base for the firm and enjoys doing so. His goal is to build long term relationships with clients while providing high level tax guidance along the way.
